“Andere Welten” was the name of a store for all sorts of figurines, posters, books and everything else regarding merchandise for science-fiction, based in Hamburg, Germany.

As it closed down some years ago it was replaced by a supermarket. The once low-hanging ceiling has been removed by the new owners to make space for the daylight to coming through the big front windows.

This photograph was taken in a store called „Sense of Wonder“ which has since replaced the supermarket. An automatic door system, typical for those sorts of stores, remains.

Welcome back.
